News blog | Trains, Planes, Automobiles - Buses Are BetterHave you ever wondered why so many groups of people go on bus charter tours for their holidays? Well, truth be told there are many reasons, but one of the most frequent reasons that are used is convenience and comfort. Many travelers enjoy the freedom that a coach tour gives them. They also appreciate the fact that these bus tours are often a far more environmentally friendly means of transportation.

Climate Controlled and Climate Friendly!

There are few things as pleasant as traveling down the winding roads in the south of France and still be able to enjoy the scenery and landscape without having to worry about driving yourself. Also, in the summer months when it's nice and warm, you have the amazing comfort of the climate-controlled bus. This makes your holiday so much more enjoyable.

However, there are those that are concerned about the environment. And this is a valid concern as all over the world we are experiencing warmer summers and often colder winters. In the past buses and coaches were seen as major contributors to the climate problem, what with their big engines and smoke-spewing tailpipes. But now there is an alternative.

Modern coaches are built with extremely economical power trains and many are even fitted with hybrid power units. This means that your chartered bus could be better for the environment than your own motor vehicle. Many countries in Europe are retrofitting and ordering new hybrid and even some fully electrical busses to minimize the effect both in the cities and on the tour routes.

When it comes to holiday travel, there are many options to consider. Continental Europe is crisscrossed with train tracks and you could get just about anywhere by train. However, environmentally even if your train is electric, you are still releasing more carbon into the atmosphere than a bus does. The electrical power must come from somewhere and thus needs to be calculated into the equation.

Traveling by plane to far of countries and places is most likely the easiest way of doing it. especially if you are going to cross oceans and large countries. The truth is there is no other way of getting to your destination otherwise. Yet, there is still something to be said for the use of bus charters. Compared to a bus, a short plane trip, let’s say cross country or just to the next state, for instance, is much more harmful to the environment and your health than you think. In a plane, you have a closed air circuit and this is a breeding ground for airborne diseases.

When you are traveling by a chartered bus or coach, you of course get air conditioning but you also get the option of opening a window and letting the fresh outside air in. This is a much healthier way of traveling. And of course, traveling by your own car or even a rental has already been shown to be just a little more frustrating than you would want on your holiday…

Travel by Bus Charter and enjoy a Cleaner Lifestyle

When you think about it you really don’t have a very difficult choice. Using any other mode of transportation, you might very well enjoy your holiday, but when you travel by Bus Charter you most definitely will have a much more relaxing time and get to see more sights for sure! So, if you are partial to saving the environment and enjoy a great holiday, maybe give your nearest Bus Charter company a call and check out the amazing offers they have in store for you.
