Visit the Top 10 places in Amalfi Coast with Coach Charter Europe - your bus company
It's a little understatement to say that the Amalfi Coast of Italy is stunning. With so many of the best things to do on the Amalfi Coast, you're going to be spoiled for options, and you're going to have to prioritize when and how you really want to see. Perched south of Naples, the Amalfi Coast is a breathtaking region to discover in Italy and a place to be appreciated by anyone on their journey across Italy. There's just so much to see and do that doesn't just mean you're frightened by the roads.
These colorful village houses, staggered on terraced cliffs, fragrant lemon groves, delicious fresh Italian food and turquoise waters, make this a dream place. It's a series of different towns and villages, each of which has its own unique character and appeal, so you kind of need to determine a few things before your journey.

Coach Charter Europe will be your group travel partner when it comes to visit Amalfi Coast. Let the experts look after you and book your tour bus with driver on our website. We can offer long distance coaches for a multi-day trip around Amalfi Coast. You can also chose an Airport shuttle transfer for you and your group from e.g. Rome or Naples straight to Amalfi Coast. A chartered bus with driver booked at our bus rental company will be the best choice for a perfect stay at Amalfi Coast.

Coach Charter Europe’s team wanted to show you some of the very best things to do in the Amalfi Coast:

1. Sorrento

Sorrento is the starting point (or the end) of the Amalfi Coast, and Coach Charter Europe’s team think that's what makes it extremely popular, particularly during the summer. It's stunning and one of the simplest and best things to do on the Amalfi Coast. There's a lot to do between the sun-drenched squares, the breath-taking hotels and winding streets of the Old Town that ooze with charm and make Sorrento, simply speaking, a lovely place to add to your European tour bucket list.

2. Atrani

If you need a breather from all the busier cities and towns, head over to beautiful Atrani. It's one of the best places on the Amalfi Coast to just hang out and relax. Even though it's relatively close to Amalfi (the town), the vibe here is completely different and much more comfortable. Now, if you're planning a visit, make sure you leave the car behind and explore Atrani on foot. If you're here, check out the medieval architecture, eat in one of the many trattorias, watch in Piazza Umberto I, or just hang out at the tiny black sandy beach.

3. Positano

Positano is the quintessential Amalfi Coast village with breathtaking views and beautiful pastel-coloured homes. Yeah, the kind you've seen in every iconic image of the Amalfi coast. And if you haven't, that's what you're going to be painting the Amalfi Shore. With a gorgeous sandy beach, busy seaside bars, even more busy nightlife and fancy-breasting boutiques, Positano is understandably a place to splurge a little and treat yourself!

4. Amalfi

A trip to the Amalfi Coast is incomplete without an Amalfi stop. What was once an significant trading center is now a beautiful coastal area. Relax and enjoy some sunshine at the popular Marina Grande beach or head to Santa Croce 's tiny cove if Marina Grande beach is too busy for you. If it's not exactly what you're looking for here (or even, after you've finished soaking up the sunshine), head over to the magnificent 11th Century Cathedral of Sant'Andrea or spend the afternoon at the Chiostro del Paradiso.

5. Fiordo di Furore

If you want a fast escape from the maddening crowds, head to Fiordo di Furore, Italy's only fjord. This heavily photographed beach is normally peaceful and absolutely breathtaking.

6. Capri

Good – this is not technically "The Amalfi Coast," but the glamorous (and hopefully romantic) island of Capri is a short day trip from the Amalfi Coast and a must-see when you're in the region. Think of cascading bougainvillea, whitewashed homes, turquoise seas, and stunning views everywhere you look. It's completely beautiful here, and it's worth the ride. It's just one of the best things to do on the Amalfi Coast.

7. Ravello

Ravello is another spot on the Amalfi Coast that has long been a playground for the rich and famous, and it's easy to see why you're there once. With spectacular views from the Terrace of Infinity, the fascinating gardens of Villa Cimbrone and the fantastic atmosphere of Piazza del Vescovado, Ravello can quickly find its way to the top of your favorite places to visit in Italy. If you're here during the summer, you'll have to attend the annual Ravello Music Festival in Villa Rufolo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

8. Praiano

Praiano is another smaller and more comfortable village on the Amalfi coast. Once known for its silk production and for being the summer residence of the Amalfi dukes, Praiano is today a beautiful resort town as well as a hub for the arts. Travel to the rocky beach of La Gavitella and enjoy the breathtaking views from there. Also, spend some quiet time in the church of Parrocchia Di San Gennaro – it's unbelievable!

9. Minori

If you love pasta, you're going to love Minori! Formerly lined with pasta making factories, Minori, also known as the City of Taste, is now a UNESCO site and a must-visit on the Amalfi coast. Something about its narrow alleys and old houses, particularly the Roman Villa of the 1st Century called the Convent of San Nicola (XI) will take you back in time. But going back to the pasta, the N'dunderi (dumplings made of ricotta) and the Scialatielli (fresh pasta ribbon) are lip-tasting delicacies that you simply must try! Take the Delizie Al Limone for dessert at the popular Sal De Riso pastry. It's a beautiful place and the best food stuff to do on the Amalfi Coast.

10. Maiori

Maiori is a historic town with a lot of character, so much so that Rossellini chose this town as the setting for four of his films. Think of ancient walls, old castles, and wonderful art-filled churches. Maiori is also where you'll find the longest beach on the Amalfi Coast and some delicious seafood. If you're up for a shopping spot – for souvenirs or something else, head to Corso Reginna, the main street full of fun, exclusive boutiques and shops.
