    This small but innovative and thought provoking museum is a must to visit when in Zagreb.     In 1888, the shortest funicular railway line in the world was constructed to link over the steep divide between upper and lower parts of Zagreb.     The Mimara museum is named after the special collection of treasures from the renowned art collector Ante Topic Mimara. The artifacts date back from 4th century till 20th century. All three floors are recommended to explore, but on the third floor the glass treasures and the picture gallery are top mark, and a privilege to see and enjoy the specials there.
